Kia ora and Welcome to our school

Warkworth School is a vibrant and progressive school offering stimulating, high-quality learning experiences utilising meaningful contexts drawn from the extraordinary resources sitting on our regional doorstep.

The school is located in the beautiful Rodney District, also known as the Kowhai Coast. It is a one-hour drive north of Auckland with access to boundless recreational facilities which provide an ideal balance to the rich learning that takes place at school.

Out of Zone Enrolment Vacancies

Enrolment at the school is governed by an enrolment scheme, details of which are available from the school office or on the school website https://www.warkworth.school.nz/enrolment.  The Board has determined that 13 places overall for students in Years 0, 5 & 6 are likely to be available for out of zone students in Terms 3 and 4, 2024.  The exact number of places will depend on the number of applications received from students who live within the school’s home zone.

Applications are now invited for out of zone students.  Application forms are available here.  The deadline for receipt of applications is 15 May 2024.

Parents of students who live within the home zone and intend enrolling their child at any time during this year should notify the school by 15 May 2024 to assist the school to plan appropriately.  Students who live in the home zone are entitled to enroll at the school.

If the number of out of zone applications exceeds the number of places available, students will be selected by ballot.  If a ballot is required, it will be held on 16 May 2024.  Parents will be informed of the outcome of the ballot within three days of the ballot being held.
