Pink Shirt Day 2024

On Friday 17 May, Warkworth School, along with many schools and organisations in New Zealand participated in Pink Shirt Day. Our focus for the day was to highlight our school value of manaakitanga. Manaakitanga means that we foster and show genuine care and respect for all people by developing an inclusive and collaborative culture. Pink Shirt Day is a reminder to celebrate differences and to be an upstander if we see behaviour that is not inclusive.

We were very proud of our Active leaders who planned and led this successful day.

Saxer Design

Hello and Kia ora, I’m the founder of Saxer Design – a small, experienced team based in New Zealand. My focus is on understanding your business goals and turning your ideas into a website that not only looks great but speaks clearly to your audience.

I craft visually striking, authentic websites that help grow your business or organisation. With over 25 years of experience across different cultures and industries, I bring a thoughtful mix of design, branding, and marketing expertise.

About 6 years ago, I switched from developing open-source websites to Squarespace and never looked back. My clients love it and can still optimise the sites with code and CSS.

Whether you're a business wanting to build stronger community connections, or a school or organisation looking to sharpen your message and boost your impact, I’m here to help you communicate with confidence and clarity.
