***Native Tree Planting***
Last Tuesday, Kahikatea (C6) helped to plant 900 native seedlings in our local Kōwhai Park, including Harakeke, Kahikatea, Manuka, Kanuka, and Giant Umbrella-sedge. And all while under the watchful eye of two very mature, very tall, Kahikatea trees!
Thanks to Anna Baine from Auckland Council for the opportunity and experience! We look forward to returning to the same spot next term to help with weeding around these plants.
