Our PTA
Warkworth School PTA Information
The Warkworth School PTA is a small, dynamic team of volunteer parents who organise fantastic fundraising and social events to raise funds directly benefiting the school. Previous projects have included:
Enhancing outdoor spaces, such as planting the orchard on the junior school,
Providing trees for the senior side,
Purchasing readers and extra sports equipment to be enjoyed by everybody.
The PTA meets monthly on the first Tuesday of every month to plan and organise events, with additional meetings in the lead-up to events.
Friends of the PTA is for parents who can’t commit to the committee but want to help at specific events. From running stalls to baking, setting up at discos, or assisting at the book fair, you choose when and how long to volunteer. Events are spread throughout the year, easing the commitment.

Fundraising for your School
We’re a super-simple online platform used by schools around New Zealand to manage fundraising. We’re serious about sourcing top quality products (no plastic junk) that parents, teachers and kids love.
50% of the profits from each sale go straight to the school you wish to support and with the ongoing support of parents and friends, much of the schools fundraising needs will be taken care of, leaving teachers to get on with the important job of teaching.
Our uniquely designed sponsorship programme has helped put over $1.3 million of resources into more than 400 rural schools in the last 13 years.
It’s very simple. Customers nominate a participating school to receive 50 cents for every 100L of bulk fuel they have delivered.
Once a participating school reaches their $1,000 target / goal they can redeem from the 40+ technology and sports packages on offer.
