Cultural Performances
Kapa Haka Rōpū
We have two Kapa Haka rōpū - Tēina Rōpū, comprising Year 3 and 4 tamariki, and Tuākana Rōpū, comprising Year 5 and 6 tamariki.
They practice every Friday with specialist teachers and tutors and perform at school, in the community and annually at festivals such as the Kowhai Festival and Kaipara Festival.
Pasifika Performance Group
Our Pasifika group celebrates the diverse cultures of the Pacific, with learners representing Kiribati, Tuvalu, Tonga, Samoa, Fiji, and the Cook Islands. Each Friday, they come together to deepen their understanding of their cultures and traditions through song, dance, and storytelling, and to prepare for performances at school and in the wider community.
