Reception Classes

Warkworth Primary School has two reception classes. These classes are the transition from pre-school to school and most children spend from 6 - 10 weeks in the class. Here they are taught school routines and social skills in a non-threatening environment. The numbers in these two classes are kept low. When children are ready they are moved in groups to a new Year 1 class.
