English for Speakers of Other Languages

Warkworth Primary has an experienced teacher who works closely with all students in the school who have English as a second language. International fee paying students are included in this also.

The teacher either works in the classroom along side with the classroom teachers or withdraws the children for language and cultural lessons. The teacher is also involved with the pastoral care and liases between the school and the families.

The children have their own space, with their ESOL teacher, where work and photos can be displayed and resources kept.
