Core Curriculum
First and Foremost the school is required by the Ministry of Education to ensure children have the opportunity to undertake study in the essential areas of learning and to develop essential skills.
We wish to develop confident, positive students who can attain their potential in all areas. Every child has some strengths and potential, and their individuality needs to be found, encouraged and celebrated.
Schools are facing increasing challenges in providing for the learning needs of their students. We aim to give all our students a strong background in the New Zealand National Curriculum covering all Seven Essential Learning Areas.
The Seven Essential Learning Areas are:
- English
